A former DJ and TV host for ABS-CBN Northern Luzon, Russell is now the Brand Manager of SM City Baguio handling marketing events, advertising and promotions. He auditioned to join OpenSpace in 1997 when he was still a student at Saint Louis University. During his stay at SLU, he became a member of CHS Repertory from 1996 to 2001, Vice President in 1997 and President from 1998 to 2000.
