Jojo Lamaria is a graduate of Communication Arts with a Bachelor’s Degree from Saint Louis University and has been a photo-journalist since 1996 working with the Weekly Vibrations and the Philippine STAR. He is currently a correspondent of The Daily Tribune.

 

He also worked as a Community Development Officer for the Central Cordillera Agricultural Programme (CECAP) from 1991 - 1995, and as a Legal Officer of the Sangguniang Panglunsod of Baguio City from 1989 – 1990.

 

As a broadcaster, Lamaria worked for different radio stations in the Cordillera Region, Regions 1 and 2 from 1979 – 1988.

 

As an actor, he has worked with American Director Mark Yerkes of VIDEOPARABLES, in creating the short Filipino Christian Film THE LAMB'S FIRST CHRISTMAS which was shown last December of 2007 at the Grace Baptist church.

 

With openSpace, Lamaria has worked as a photographer and videographer in various projects, particularly PORTRAIT OF A HILL STATION, and has acted in the play, ANG PAGLILITIS NI MANG SERAPIO where he appeared as the Hukom.
